Lacon Design & Build
Our team has over a decade of industry experience, making us experts in all construction areas, including new builds, refurbishments, structural alterations, and interiors. Lacon Design & build Limited is a privately owned construction company founded in January 2015, committed to delivering high-quality work in the residential, commercial, education, and retail sectors.
As a Main Contractor, we take on projects up to £5 million, while our specialist sub-contract builders division handles projects up to £2 million. Our base is in North London, and our services extend throughout London and across England.
CARLYLE MANSIONS SW3
Located on Cheyne Walk in the Chelsea area of London, England, Carlyle Mansions is a block of flats that has been standing since 1886. Its name is a tribute to Thomas Carlyle, a Chelsea resident for most of his life. The flats are famously known as the "Writers' Block" due to their history of housing renowned authors such as Henry James, Erskine Childers, T. S. Eliot, Somerset Maugham, and Ian Fleming. Originally designed in the early 90s by the minimalist architect John Pawson, the building underwent an altered design by Maya Vuksa Architecture.

KEYHOLE HOUSE NW10
BYÂ JOSHUA OWARE
The Keyhole House, located in North West London, was designed by Joshua Oware, a British Diplomat and part-time interior designer. Lacon had the honor of collaborating with Joshua on this project, which involved refurbishing a flat and providing bespoke furniture and in-house joinery. We also made structural alterations to convert the one-bedroom flat into a two-bedroom flat. This project was nominated for the 2020 Federation of Master Builders Awards, which is a great achievement. The clients were delighted with the exceptional quality of the outcome, and the project was a success.

Rochester Square was designed by Whiteman Architects and serves as the residence for one of the top architects in the UK, Stuart Piercy of Piercy & Company.
MAISON JOUBERT N3
We are pleased to share that Maison Joubert, located in Finchley Central, is our most recent project. It was designed by Whitman Architects and assisted by Lacon. Our team is delighted to have worked on this project and we have established a strong relationship with our client.
